Dr. G S Kalaimathi earned his MBBS degree from Tirunelveli Medical College in Tamil Nadu from 1988 to 1994. He further pursued his Doctor of Ophthalmology (DO) at Stanley Medical College in Chennai from 2003 to 2005. To enhance his expertise in ophthalmology, he completed his Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Ophthalmology from the National Board of Examinations in New Delhi.

Dr. Kalaimathi is fellowship-trained in cataract surgery, boasting over 15 years of experience in managing both routine and complex cataract cases. He specializes in advanced techniques such as phacoemulsification, femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery, and the implantation of premium intraocular lenses, including toric and multifocal lenses.
